Welcome to Nine Vines

A small place to stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Nine rooms, each named for a wine of the region and finished in its colour, small enough that we learn your name by the second morning. A few minutes' walk from the Old Town shops and restaurants, and a short drive from more than forty wineries.

Our Story

Nine rooms, and a love for slow mornings.

Nine Vines began with a simple wish: a place in Niagara-on-the-Lake where time loosens, the coffee is good, and the front desk is whoever happens to be near the door.

We kept it to nine rooms on purpose. Small enough to feel like a friend's beautiful house, large enough that you'll never queue for breakfast. The name nods to the nine wines our rooms are named for, and the nine doors down our hall.

Dinner at Mdina.

Our restaurant is just downstairs, which makes the best table in town the one you don't have to drive to. Mdina serves dinner in an intimate room built for a long, unhurried evening, a glass of something local, and no rush to be anywhere after.

The Region

Everything is close.

We're at 390 Mary Street, five minutes' walk to the heritage town, ninety minutes from Toronto and twenty from the U.S. border.

Wine country

More than forty wineries sit within a short drive. Icewine in winter, patio flights all summer, and we arrange tastings and a driver.

The room
